In the House of Commons, Sir Jolili Simon said that on their return from Mo-cow, the engineers insisted that Thornton and MaoDoncld were complete. y innocent, and he was convinced that the Government’s action was entirely justified.
Mr Stanley Baldwin, in reply to Mr Lansbury, said: “.I think that the debate on the Russian embargo will not, at present help the imprisoned engineers.”
