At the Magistrate’s' Court, CJre.vmouth on Monday, Norman Leslie Ituscoe, 24, on remand, was , chargea that, at New Plymouth, on February 22, he stole a pair of trousers a blazer, three ties, a shirt, and a suitcase, of the total value of £3 8s 6d, the property of Kelvin Russell Hunt; alsothat, at New Ploymouth, on the same: date, ho stole a pair of trousers, an. overcoat, two shirts, a pair of shoes; a razor, a shaving brush, and a stick nf soap, of the total value of £5 9s 6di, the property of William John Leo. Accused pleaded guilty, and elected to be dealt with summarily. Accused handed a written statement to the S.M. Unfortunately for accused, said! Mr Meldrum, Ruscoe had already served three years in a Borstal institution; on two charges of theft and four : barges of breaking and entering. Now there were two further charges: against him for theft. He would bo sentenced to fou»- months’ imprisonment with hard labour, in Paparua; Prison, on each charge, the terms to be concurrent.
