DECENTRALISATION
M ALA Y POL ICY RECOAI M ENDED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 20. General Sir Samuel AVilson, Pennaent Under-Secretary for the Colonies, reporting on his last year’s visit to Malaya, recommends the gradual adoption of a policy of decentralisation/the first stage covering a period of four years to allow of readjustment of the financial relations of the Federal and State Governments, and a strengthening generally of the financial position of the federated Malay States.
