The first year •of Yaw’s injection campaign, which will be spread over three years, ha..; jost been completed and the result;; are its good as could be expected. Over seventy-four thousand injections were given by native medical practitioners, working under the direction of Doctor Ernest Hunt, chief medical officer in We stern Samoa. The campaign is being conducted by the Western Pacific Health Service, in conjunction with the Rookfellbw Foundation in Western Pacific, with headquarters at Suva. Their Excellencies visited Apia Hospital on Saturday morning and were greatly interested in the splendid work of the institution.
