The “Daily -Herald’s” special correspondent says that th e Sh-h of Persia. and Sir John Cadnmn have inllialI led a preliminary agreement at Teheran ending the A nglo-l’ersian | Company’s dispute with the Go\cin. t ment of Persia*. | Under the agreement, Persia will >'B- - ceive twenty-one per cent., instead of sixteen per cent, of the Ang-o-PeiV.i—* /Oil Company’s profits, beside s a small percentage of the profit's of it-s subsidiary companies. The renewal of the Darcy oU comcession for sixty years has been secured land also the right to exploit vast untouched oilfields in the northj ern provinces of Persia.
