STORM DISASTER

HURRICANE IN NEW HEBRIDES. (British Official Wireless.) HUG BY, April 20. The Colonial Office states it has received news that a severe hurricane passed over the northern islands ot the New Hebrides on April Bth ana 9th. Serious damage was done in the north to property and crops. The destruction of the latter is estimated in some cases at lip to fifty per cent. Hoads and bridges suffered severely. Buildings were damaged. There is no news from the south of tile Islands.
