ALL'LODGES
REORGANISATION ON NEW BASIS

(Received this day at 10.30 a.m.) HANOVER, Aforil 21. Following a meeting of masonic and Government representatives, the dis-
solution of all German masonic lodges and their reorganisation on a purely Christian basis, wa s announced. The word “freemason,” als 0 the old testament ritual will disappear, and lodges will reorganise, under the name of the National Christian Order of Frederick th e Great.. Jews will be refused admittance. The statement declared that the. granci lodges decided on the reorganisation in
deference to the new conditions. The masou'ic tradition of almost two centuries standing is removed. There is believed to be a million German freemasons.
