At the continuation of the Holy Year ceremonies the Pope officiated at High Mass at St. Peter’s,, which was unprecedented since 1870. (The Pope, later. appeared ! on the, balcony,- blessing the w0r1d.,,, while 200,000 people knelt- in St A Peter’s Square.
