ACTION, OF STARTER. (Per Press Association Copyriyhti) CHRISTCHURCH, April 7. Objections of Otago amateur athletic centre to the action of a starter in disqualifying a competitor in the New Zealand championships was- discussed by, the Canterbury centre. Mr Leadbetter said he bad adhered strictly to the rule of the. New Zealand Association.
The centre- decided to write.to Ot-ngoj.; regretting the attitude it had taken rip, and asking for a. withdrawal of th& remarks reflecting on the starter.
