: meeting of enthusiasts it was decided ;to form a chib to lie known as the i'St. Mary’s Hockey. . Westland Industrial Building . Society.—The annual meeting of shareholders was presided over by . Mr H. L., Michel. the report stated, that during the year the sum of £I6OO was appropriated as against .£I4OO last year. Mr C. Evans and Dr E. Teichelniann were appointed directors, ancl Messrs A. Keller and A. . 33. King were re-elected auditors.
llughy. Union.—The annual meeting of the West Coast Rugby Union was field at Greymouth last evening wheii Messrs Houston and Hills were present as delegates from Hokitika. Mr J. Stenhouse -was appointed president land Drs McKay and Meßreaty, and Mr J. F. White vice-presidents, or the union.
• Revision Court.—At the Magistrate’s rCoui't a Court of Revision was held before Messrs W. A. Thompson, E. McGregor, and E. H. Robinson, J.’s P. The jury lists as submitted by .Constables Burrell (Hokitika), Jones (Stafford), and Stewart (Kanieri), were approved and certified to. Advertising Westland.—The subcommittee of the Westland Acclimatisation Society is considering ways! and means in regard to the better advertising of the Westland district. Dr Teichelmann has been asked to prepare the. necessary advertising matter with regard t 0 the district for Cook’s tourist guide.
