CHRISTCHURCH, April 8
By 22 votes to 11 a special meeting of the Canterbury Football Association rejected a motion in favour of voluntarily winding up. The financial statement showed a deficit of £857. The majority of speakers said that if the clubs pulled together, ' the position would be retrieved as the creditors appeared sympathetic.
