POSITION OF THE CANDIDATES
In the Plunket baby competition, the Schools baby is leading by a thousand votes from the Sports baby, while the Catholic baby, is close behind. Ross has joined in with South Westland, whose candidate is fourth, having entered the lists after the others had well started. The number of votes for each is as follows:—School 6687, Sports 5639, Catholic 5280, South Westland 2930.
