FAST TRAVEL
A RECORD CLAIMED. ■WELLINGTON, April 5. What is probably a record for fast travel by air, road, and steamer in New Zealand was established by Dr !R. Campbell Begg in the formation of the New Zealand Legion. In 37 days Dr Begg covered 5276 miles, an average of 142 miles a day. He used aeroplanes more than 12 times and flew a total of 3582 miles.
