FORMER, LONDON LORD MAYOR.
WELLINGTON, April 4,
A distinguished visitor to New Zealand this month will be Sir Vlansittart Rowater, Bart., M.P., who for several y-easr has sat in the House of Commons as London representative of the Conservative interests. He was Lord Mayor of London in the year 1913-14. He is making- an Empire tour for health purposes. His present intentions are to arrive at Auckland by the Wanganella from Sydney on April 25. He will stay a week in the Dominion. Advice of Sir Vansittart Bowater’s visit has been received by Mr C. M. Dot ham ley, secretary of the New Zealand branch of the Empire Parliamentary Assoeitaion. from Sir Harold d’Egville, secretary of the branch of the United Kingdom.
