FROZEN FUNDS
AMERICA AND BRAZIL.
RIO DE JANEIRO, March 31
The American Chamber of Commerce, at the request of the American Manufacturers’ Export 'Association, ,began to-day to gather data on the frozen funds tied up here by the lack of exchange coverage. It is hoped to devise a workable plan for freeing these funds, probably with the aid of the United States Government.
Tlie general fooling here among a largo majority cf American business mon is that any plan adopted should give American exporters and manufacturers priority over investors whose funds are tied up in Brazil.
