WELLINGTON, April 4. Reference t» what h e described as untrue and grossly exaggerated reports was made by the German consul, Mr W. Penseler, in ,a statement.

In a statement published on March 25, this association had denounced the reports of atrocities as lies, the originators of which it strongly condemned. . “Further proof of the falsity of the reports,” Mr Pense’.er said, “i s the continued rise in shares in the Berlin ■ Exchange, many of which have record figures. Jewish interests, which ate largely represented jn Exchange transactions, would certainly not display such unbounded confidence in 'the sta* - bility of the German internal position, were there any truth in th e allegations.” BOYCOTT IS NOW -OVER. ANTI-SEMITISM CONTINUES. BERLIN, April 4. Nearly every trace of a boycott has disappeared. It is unlikely t 0 be resumed. Meanwhile, anti-Semitism is unabated in Germany. Wholesale dismissals of Jews continue. The Nazis are now attempting to Christianise the Bourse by forcing the Jews to resign from it. The Berlin boxing .association have prohibited Jews from participation in the fights. They have cancelled Jewish managers’ contracts, and have algo suspended foreign managers. N.Z. MINISTERS’ PROTEST. WELLINGTON, April 4.
