WELLINGTON, April 4.
At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, applications for recognition as New Zealand records from the following were approved: A. A. Cameron, hop step and jump, 47ft. 6in., -at Christchurch, on March 11; A. T. Anddi’son, 440 yards hurdles, in 56 &ssecs, at Christchurch, or. March 11; D. Kerr Taylor, 440 yards hurdles in 56 4-ssecs., at Auckland on February 18; A. A. Cameron, high jump, Oft. o.\in., at Wellington, in March; M. 11. SpiUane, hammer-throw-ing 153 ft. 6in.; A. J. Elliott, 100 yards, in 9 4-s?ecs, at Auckland, in February. The application of R. Cameron for recognition of his half-mile walk at Auckland in 1932, was also approved The time was 3.2 2-5.
