FOUR ABE KILLED
ACCIDENT TO PRIVATE MACHINE

'(Received April 1 at 8.50 a.m.) a\kODkSHA (Kansas) March 31.
A private aeroplane, carrying the Canadian Toilers basket-ball team, of \,Winnipeg, champions of Manitoba, and a party of fourteen in all, crashed near here to-day, killing four and seriously injuring ten. The Toilers are the present Dominion champions. Pending this year’s approaching play-off they have been playing at Tulsa, and Oklahoma, prior to taking part in the play off for the Dominion championship. Those killed were Messrs A. H. Hakes (pilot), H. E. Egges (co-pilot), J. H. O’Brien, Minneapolis, (owner of the plane), Mike She a (a .player).
Messrs R. H. Bonynga, (the business representative of the team), Allan C. Sampson (president) and George Wilson (manager) are believed to bo dying. The others were injured in varying degrees,
