ARAHURA STOCK SALE
Yesterday’s sale at Ar.-hura was marked by .a small attendance of buyers and restricted competition for ail classes of stock which ' were difficult to quit even at reduced rates. - W. Jeffries and Go’s entry consisted of 46 lambs, 77 fat ewes 2 rains ? 33 fat wethers, 134 breeding ewes and 23 fat cattle,, and the following sales were made:—For J. Green 46 fat .lambs f small) at Bs:6d, 24 fab ewco at 8s 6d. For H. Busch 33 fat wether s passed a? 11s 9d, 53 fat ewes at 7s 6d, 38 two and four tooth ewes at 10s 6d, 2 reenney f.m. rams at l6s ; . 38 f.m, roni-n-ey ewes parsed at. ss.
For-J. Orowley one store .steer at £3 55,. one ditto cow at £1 6s.v For W. Berry 2 steel’s at £5 15s, 2 at £5 7r 6d, 1 at £7, 3 at £4 15s, 3 at £4 10s, runner at £2 Is, 4 cows at £3 ss.
