One of the noisiest meetings ever held at Perth, took place at- the crowded Theatre Royal, when Mr M. E. .Lyons opened his campaign against secession. Ttho Prime Minister was repeatedly counted out, while a small object thrown from the gallery struck the microphone. Mrs Lyons was,also hit and she immediately left the platform. Senator Brennan did not secure a hearing and the meeting summarily closed with throe cheers for Western Australia,. :,
