PILLOW FIGHT THIRD

In a secondary feature race here, at one mile and -twenty yards, Pillow Fight, the New Zealand horse, ran third, being beaten by Lovers AH, and Lemon Hills. Lovers All, a three-year-old filly, owned by the Meadowbrook stable, went into the early lead, and never was headed, finishing in lmin 40 sec. Lemon Hills, which is a likely starter in the twenty-five thousand dollar handicap next Sunday overtook Pillow Fight in the stretch run, and finished two lengths behind the winner.

Pilow Fjght started slowly, but moved into a position of contention in the back stretch. Pillow Fight bore out at the last turn, and fell back steadily in the stretch run, finishing two lengths ahead of Satin Spear, the fourth place horse, but one length behind Lemon Hills.
