MISHAP! IN SEATTLE HARBOUR.

SEATTLE March 25.
The American mail liner, President Madison, capsved at its moorings in the harbour here on Friday night, and slowly filled with water. Three of the crew are mi,sing. They were trapped in the hold as the liner tilted.
lhere were fifteen hundred persons abcard. They quickly clambered over the side to safety.
Attempts to fill the ballast tanks •after three plates of the lull] had been removed are believed to be the cause of the accident.
