An influential section of the Jews favours a diplomatic course, owing to the danger of reprisals if any extreme meatsures, such as ,the boycott, are adopted.
The World Alliance for Combating Anti-Semitism, announces to “all 1 Jewry” that the boycott extends to all ,pf the cinemlas that aro exhibiting Gorman films, and also to all German restaurants.

Captain Goering conducted the journalists through a prison, allowing them to, see and talk' there to Communist leaders who have been reported dead .and mutilated.
At Frankfort the police have prohibited the “Kosher” killing of cattle because, they state, “animals born in Germany must not be .slaughtered in •agony by Asiatic methods. If the Jews cannot eat our meat, then the profiteers ctan eat turnips and potatoes—as the Germans did in war time.”

RIGA JEWS CONTEMPLATE ACTION,

The. Jewish merchants here contemplate similar action to those elsewhere. They' are allying Esthonian and_ Lithuanian importers. The Jews have ladvised the Federation of British Industries that now is their time to secure a footing in the Baltic States.

While motor cars hearing slogans urging the boycott traversed the neighbourhood/the Jewish board of deputies, under the chairmanship of Mr Neville Laski, were for three hours in camera, and discussed the situation of their co-religionists in Germany.
They announced that the board would neither participate- in nor prevent boycotts, But would take steps "including an early 'meeting to secure equality of citizenship in Germany. The “Sunday Times” says that the Jewish leaders Will approach the foreign Office to suggest diplomatic representations to Germany for more tolerant treatment.
The Jewish telegraph agency circulates an eye-witness account by a leading German industrailist declaring that a systematic persecution , continues. Jews are still in. hiding in the woods in night time, and taking refuge with nen-Jewish friends. He alleges that the Nazis subjected the Jews to dastarly torture. Some were forced to run the gauntlet between rows of troops who lashed them with metal tiped whips. Others y;ere buried in the ground, with only their heads visible.
