DUNEDIN, March 24. The Bell and Kilgour party are at present on very rich ground 0 n Kawan.ui. They have been averaging for the last four days over twelve ounces of gold a day, which for the work of three'men conveys some idea cf the astounding richness of the claim.

They expressed themselves as more than pleased with the manner in which all the work is being carried' out. The position in this respect reflects great credit on the engineer and forcin'n.
