Kirk, Wellington; tre:.surer, Miss Lovell Smith. A discussion too:; place on th e question or the registration, of the unemployed women, and it was resolved that the Government be urged to open a register for unemployed women. It was alsoi decided, “that tho W.C.T.U. nndertak e an investigation of the cinema picture programmes and prepare data with a view to bringing about an improvement- in the tone of the moving pictures exhibited in New Zealand.”
