While descending from a (motor cycle yeserday nfternono, Bernard rte Lauricr received a charge from a rifle he wa,s carrying. It is not definitely clear how the accident happened, but ■it is assumed that the safety catch had not been applied. Do Laurier was pickled up by a passing motorist and removed to a private hospital, where an operation was performed and the bullet removed from his lung. His condition this morning is critical.
