At the court martial, Lieutenant Baillie, Stewart’s counsel, occupied the morning with the cross examination or Sinis. He ridiculed the. idea of third degree methods. It was further eliciteo that none of the text books, photographs or bank notes in Stewart’s room were under lock and key.
The Court will now sit in camera to examine nine witnesses.
