ALLEGED FARCE
INSPECTION OF MACHINERY. (Per Press Association Copyrujlit.) WELLINGTON", March 21. The fee charged for the. inspection of machinery was declared to he excessive at a meeting of the Council of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. The opinion was expressed that the present examination is a farce, and that' the activities of the Machinery Department are seriously affecting the sawmilling industry.
