The French Ambassador here caked on Herr von Neuratli, and protested against the recent event at Kehi (where Na.zi forces crossed the Rhine;. Herr Neurath declared that France s protest was unfounded. He said the Versailles Treaty had not been infringed. It was a precaution merely taken for maintenance of order.
TRIBUTE PAID TO SIR J. SIMON
MANNER IN HANDLING DISPUTE.

When the Westerplatte agreement came before the League Council, tributes were paid to Sir J. Simon f° r his capable handling of the dispute. M. Ziehm, President of the Danzig Senate, gave an assurance that he could guarantee the safety of Polish interests at Westerplatte, and the Polish Minister (M. Beck) gave an assurance of the speedy withdrawal of the Polish troops. . Sir J. Simon said the incident could' be regarded as closed. JEWS SEEK REFUGE IN POLAND. ■ WARSAW, March 14. Frontiers guards report that the Nazis severely beat and attempted to deprive of their valuables, 150 Easu Prussian Jews, ivho are fleeing to Poland. They held a two minute session and prorogued - Parliament indefinitely, cheering the republic. The police immediately notified the deputy-president, Herr Straffner, that the session was illegal as the police were not notified.

BERLIN, March 15. President von Hindenburg lias issued a decree for the restoration of the Imperial war flag, on which will be tlie Iron Cress, and the Republican red and gold cockade and military capes will be replaced by black, white and red. Herr Otto Braun lias resigned from the Reichstag and the Prussian Parliament.
