There were isom e large yarditigs at to-day's live stock sale at Addington. The fat cattle entry was 375 head, thei’o ibeing an over-supply of plain and finished cows. There was a general easing, except for prune quality, the prices of which were unchanged. Values were; Heavy isteers £7 15s to ,i£B 'ss, prime £6 2s fid to £6 12s 6d, medium,, £4 2s fid to £5 ss, light £2 12s 6d to £3 5s • heifers, extra heavy to ’£7 12s 6d, heavy £5 2s fid to £5 17s 6d, medium \£3 5s 6d to £3 17s 6d, light £2 2s fid to £3 2g fid ; covvfi, extra (heavy 'to £6 12s 6d, heavy £3 15s ' to £4 ss, medium £2 7s 6d to £3 2s 6d. The fat lambs entry totalled 2,800, th. e quality being better. West C° afi t vendors were prominent. The competition was keen, and the market was slightly' firmer. Extra prime, heavy lambs sold to 16s Id, prime heavy 14s to 15s, medium 11s fid to 15s oa, flgnt and ‘ plain 10s to 11s 3d. Th,g fat sheep entry numbered 4,800, with >a heavy supply of ewe». The sale was erratic, but values were unchanged.
