The Commons passed the first road’ing Of’ Mandei's -Billvfcn establish* a. - national industrial council, comprising dire hundred representatives each. of the -employers,' and:- employees, forty commoner;-', twenty peers- and fortv iiiemhers ex-officio, the council to. advise Parliament on till industrial mutters, and act as a conciliatory body in disputes. Mr Mander is of the opinion- that the council will be- -.- a real - advance for the maintenance , of, industrial ..peqicy.. .
