RUGBY March. 7. • An improvement in industries is the explanation for the better figures' ns to unemiployment, the total of which, was reduced during February bv 46,437. An imiprovemnet in. employment occurred in the building, public works contracting,; woollen* worsted, iron, steel, and general engineering industries. .In the hoot and slice manufacture and shipping services there was a •slight, decline.' In coail mining and certain other industries it is ertimrted 55,00.0 mere persons were employed in February than in the previous month.
