The bride, who entered the church on the arm of *hor brother, IMr ■ John It, Shannon of K-o-iterangi, looked charming in a graceful ankle length gown of '.pink taffeta, trimmed with old silver lace and seed pearls, with shoe* to tone. Her lace veil was hand embroidered and worn. mop. cry? fashion over a wreath of orange, blossoms, then caught on the left -shoulder with a spijay of lillies of the valley and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses and chrysanthemums and maiden hair rern, and wara attended by Miss Lucy Schroder, sister of the bridegroom, r>s bridesmaid, who wore a dress of •white serge trimmed with pink, with coatee and shoes .to match. She 'also carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums,, white roses, and maiden hair fern. Miss Florence Douglas attended ns flower girl, looking very dainty in pink georgette, with picture hat, and shoes to tone, carrying a basket of pj n li roses, carnations and antiiihinurns. Mr George L. -Shannon, brother ~f t] le l> r ide, acted as host man, and was attended -by Mr James R. Douglas, half brother of the bride, as groomsman. After the ceremony the happy •ample with their guests adjourned to Mrs Preston’s tea rooms, where the wedding recent-ion wai? he’d, and the usual toasts were honoured.
