FREIGHT CHARGES
ON DAIRY PRODUCE. . WELLINGTON, March 6. There is a diversion of'opinion in regard to the present freight agreements between the New. Zealand Meat and Dairy Produce Boards and the Shipping Companies, covering refrigerated cargoes, which expire on August 31. It is understood that efforts are to be made to obtain a renewal on a lower ■( basis of rates, jVJjr lorns, qhairman of the Dairy Board, leaves by the'Akaroa on Wednesday for London and Mr D. Jones, chairman of the Meat Board , leaves shortly for London, to negotiate for new freight contracts. It is stated that this year between 50 and GO vessels will reach New Zealand in Lallast.
