Applicants to be registered unemployed in the Westland County or interior Boroughs. Applications a«*e invited also from suitable men to act a.s Supervisors of gold mining in Westland (including the work of thoi-c at .present under subsidy). Applicants to state age and experience. Wages £3 per .week and travelling expenses. *• ‘ Information as to likely areas for prospecting in Westland, alluvial or quartz, are invited, and any information <is to prospecting already • carried out in such localities, will be welcomed. Men engaged under the scheme wi~l. he covered by accident insurance, for which purpose 3d will be deducted weekly from the wages (15s) for single men, and 6d from wages (30s) of married men.
