BIGGEST IN BRITISH HISTORY
(LONDON, February 27.
“A Flirty miles long,” describes the British Industries Fair, which opened at Olympia, White City and Birmingham, yesterday. ; It is the biggest ex-position in British history. Olympia is occupying over twenty acres of floor-space, which includes Empire foodstuffs and products. There is a huge display of British light i manufactures at White City, showing textiles and clothes,, including a c-opy of the Prince- of Wales'’ new gabardine ,gol>f- jacket, -which is proof against wind and weather.
Birmingham has extended its -space by a -50,000*' feet house.
Over a thousand firms ere exhibiting heavy qnd oilier- metal manufactures, including giant blades cutting ships’ plates,'the world’s largest jingle unit incubator, with a capacity of 70,000 eggs, which electrically hatches 20;000 chicks weekly.
