TWO MOTOR CYCLES

CARTERTON, February 27

A fatal motor cycle accident occurred at 10.30 on Sunday night, on Hi-e main north mad. J. A. Humphries of 'Carterton was | proceeding south', Horn Mas ter ton and when about midway to Carterton met . Ffederick Brown of Masjtorton. A head -on collision ensued. Doth riders \tero very serioiis'y injured on. the head and arm:?. A pillion rider behind Brown named '.Duncan McT.aien, was very slightly injured. : Carterton' police, were at once communicated with aii-if an ambulance removed the injured., men l 0 Masterton hospital, where Brown .succumbed to hiu injuries without regaining consciousness. Humphries’ condition is reported to be very serious, a fractured skull, -and severe facial abm-jions.
