General Goering has sensationally .instructed the police that activities or organisations hostile to the State must be vigorously opposed. Communist acts of terrorism must b e repelled with the utmost severity, if necessary, and weapons used ruthlessly. “Policemen using revolvers and guns in the e xei'cis c of their duties will be protected by ine, regardless of the consequences of their shooting,” ho said.
“Contrarywise, tho police must avoid any suggestion of hostility to National ist organisations like the Storm troops and Stahlehelms. which contain the best elements in the State.”
