REDUCED RATE
DISCOUNT ON TREASURY BILLS.

The Commonwealth Bank Board has decided to reduce the discount rate on three months Treasury Bills from 3J per cent to 2J per cent. The new rate will apply to all bills discounted subsequent to February 17th., whether for renewal of outstanding bills or otherwise.
