RETURNING TO N.Z. NEXT WEEK

It is expected that Sir Charles Kings!ord Smith will resume, passenger hying on February 25. His brother, Air Wilfred lvingsforcl Smith called at Palmerston fourth, when returning from Auckland, to ascertain what progress was being made with the repair ’ work, and-'lij could definitely say that the machine would be :eaty for a test flight on Friday, February 21, and passenger flights wmild be conducted at Palmerston North by Sir Charles' who is expected to arrive back on February 25 or 2G.
Air Wilfred Kinggford Smith goes south to-night to; make arrangements for the southern tour of the Southern Cross, and will spend abou a fortn glit in the South Island alter visitbig Masterton and Levin. He will arrive, from the. South on March 17.
It will depend on whether there is a favourable wind whether flights are made from Rcngotai while, the plane is at Wellington.
He said that it wa s quite likely that S.'r ( haides would fly back to Australia, but he had' t 0 wait for definite advice froni the Dominion meteorologist.
