MAORI CHILD DROWNED. GISBORNE, February 15. A native child Terei Ruru, aged two 'f.Jrs was drowned at Mangatuna Pa, Tolag-i Bay, through falling into a well adjacent to her home. FATALLY KICKED BY HORSE. OPOTIKI, February 15, Charles Derenzy Walker, a Raukotore settler, was found dead on the road tins morning. He bad been thrown front liis- .horse, and kicked.
