GOXDOLO TO POOR VENETIAN

It has just become known that Cardinal La Fontaine, the Patriarch of Venice, made a Christmas present of his private gondola to a needy gondolier named Rragora. The Cardinal summoned the secretary of the Fascist Union of Gondoliers, and said .that he wished his gondola to be given to a poor man who could benefit most from it. The secretary chose Bragora, and the vessel, which is ve' v commodious and artistically decorated, was handed over to the delighted man.
