Mr Connelly, one of Mr de Valera’s Cabinet Ministers, surprisingly, has sailed for America on a secret mission. It i s believed that he going to arrange for the repayment 01 the Republican loans that were raised during the Apglo-Irish fighting. There is also a; suggestion that he may make tentative proposals for a new loan.
