LONDON, January 18. ■ A, ‘22-year-old Chinese girl, Fang Hua Ping, who started her career as ii school teacher, but for the past louryears has been the chief ol a band of 300 outlaws, was lately awaiting execution in Canton for her crimes. She joined the band of brigands in 1928 and soon became their chief. By her orders 300 men ravaged the districts surrounding the coastal town of Swatow. Miss Fang was notorious for ruthlessiicss. Her first act of terrorism was to kill all the members of her family, including her aged parents. She spared -only one °f her brothers, who joined the band and lost his life recently when they were rounded up by troops.
