Covering Western Karamea, Westport, Murchison, Reefton, Grey mouth/ Hokitika, Otira, Arthur Pass, Ross, Okuru, at noon to-day:— A depression, consisting of several separate waves, has be e n moving oil to the Dominion during the week-end. U is r ather deep and ha 6 a good northward extension thus favouring widespr e ad rain. The pressure is rising slowly in Eastern Australia. 1 The forecast is for moderate to strong and variable winds, with northerl'es pr e vailing. Weather unsettled, but changeable, rain probable and at times heavy ; temperatures warm, sea,? rough.
