At a meeting here many distinguished soldiers, diplomats, peers, politicians and scholars discussed the need for the formation of .an alternative to the League of Nations which they held had proved incompetent to settle international disputes. It was held that internationalism must he groupwise in character, namely European, Asiatic and American.

The Soviet ha.s projected that an Asiatic League should he inaugurated .at a Pan Asiatic conference, probably in Arn-i I.
