BOWLING
WEST COAST TOURNAMENT. The annual West Coast Bowling Tournament takes place on Hokitika and 'Mental Hospital greens, a fortnight hence commencing on Monday February 13th. The entry list comprises 19 rjuks and 40 pairs, including 12 rink entries from the Coast and 7 from Canterbury and kelson. Tbie draw has been arranged and will be published in the course of a day or two.
There will be rink play on the Monday and Tuesday, with three rink game s each day, while Wednesday and Thursday will b e devoted to pairs, e a <h entry having three games each day. The finals will be play c d on the Friday. On the Saturday, the We-r (jiasfc Bowling Uenti-e singles championship will be played between t’i e singl p s representative of each West Coast Centre Club.
,in connection with the tournament a me e ting of lady supporters will be ■held on Saturday afternoon next at 3 p.m. to make arrangements for the entertainment of the players, ,at which a full attendance i.s desired, as there will bo two grounds to arrange for. a<? play will be continuous on both the Hokitika and Mental Hospital greens,on the first four days, the finals being played on th e Hokitika gree n on the Friday.
