NAPIER, January 27. The Marine inquiry into th e r e cent Napier fatality ■ was/(jontinuecl .to-day. Ari.e Agen, a. deckhand', on the Tuatu,' stated that the launch had appeared to change its course when within a few yards of the Tautu. He saw a light on the port side, and the next instant the launch wr|S overturned on the starboard side. The Tuatu did not appear to change her course. The launch was struck only a glancing blow. Witness thought that it completely overturned, Richard Blundell, piaster of the tug, Kuril, said that early on the nig,ht of tho disaster, Mentzer, the launch helmsman,, appeared,,the worse for liquor.
