STRIPED MARLIN AND MARKO. BRUSSELS, January 25. Fishing from the launch Ozone, Mr H. \\ lnte-\\ icklnun, of London, landed a striped marlin weighing 2ilib. Tins is the first swordfish this season caught by tins well-known angler.

THE LATEST SUCCESSES. WHANGAROA, January 26. Deep-sea fishing on the Whangaroa grounds continues to provide excellent sport. Mr Stanley Ellis, in the launch Reel-em-in, arrived home with three fish yesterday, a swordfish weighing 26111). and two makos of 2461 b and 2381 b. respectively. He says he had a wonderful day. In the last 11 days 10 fish were landed. Mr R. B. Watson’s latest catch is a mako of 1031 b.
