WEATHER FORECAST.
Covering Western Ivaranrea, Westport, Murchison, Reef ton, Greymouth, Hokitika, Otir.a, Arthur Pass, Ross, Okuru, at noon to-day.-'Pile general inference is that the anticyclone which has controlled New Zealand for the past few days is now centred over the country. The pressure is falling slowly over the Tasman sea, a fairly deep depression having passed Tasmania last night. The forecast is for light, variable winds with northerlies prevailing and gradually freshening. Weather fair at first and warm, but unsettled conditions and rain developing to-morrow seas smooth and moderate.
